Introducing Multi-Pro General Tools Screwdrivers

Having looked at General Tools PalmScope and included them in our inspection cameras comparison, we were interested when General Tools launched its new line of Multi-Pro Screwdrivers at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas. Featuring some innovative features, these are likely to find their way into your tool belt to replace other multi-bit screwdrivers.

How Multi-Pro General Tools Screwdrivers Work

Remember that movie Jurassic Park? There’s a scene where the insider removing the dinosaur DNA is shown a shaving cream can that cleverly hides the vials in a retractable holder. General has done something very similar with these screwdrivers by designing a retractable bit holder that not only allows easy access to the bits but also holds them in place so that it’s much simpler to know you’re grabbing the one you’re looking for.

While turning the driver, the cap stays in place against your hand, preventing irritation and blisters that normally occur when the driver is constantly turning against your skin. The Easy-Guide collar helps to keep the bit aligned with the fastener while the alloy steel shaft and nylon/ABS handle add great durability to the tool. The shaft opening doubles as a 1/4″ hex bit driver.

Here’s a rundown of the 3 models General will be offering and the bits that are included:
