Milwaukee M18 Cordless 5-3/8″ Metal Saw Preview

Milwaukee Electric Tool extended its M18 Lithium-ion line by adding the innovative M18 Cordless 5-3/8″ Metal Saw (2682-22). With a unique 4-Pole Frameless Motor that provides as much as 35% more cutting power, this lightweight and easily portable cutting tool delivers quick cuts, extended run time and excellent handling for professional electricians, air mechanical pros, plumbers and contractors.

The saw is powered by the company’s new Red Lithium Battery, delivering over 200 cuts of 3/4″ EMT per charge. To guarantee exceptional accuracy, an extra-large cut guide is combined with an impact resistant window and LED light to improve the line of sight. A tool-free depth setting feature allows you to fairly easily adjust the cutting depth between 1/8-inch and 2-inches. The stamped stainless steel shoe serves to reduce chip build-up and prevents surface damage.

Including a Metal Tech 5-3/8″ 30T Carbide-Tipped blade, the M18 Cordless 5-3/8″ Metal Saw provides heat- and burr-free cuts through metal conduit, strut, threaded rod, sheet metal, angle iron and other ferrous materials. Users can also pick up a 50T Metal Tech 5-3/8″ 30T Carbide-Tipped blade for cutting copper, aluminum and additional non-ferrous materials.

With the release of this tool, Milwaukee continues to build on the M18 Cordless Platform. The growing 18V Lithium-ion system now has more than 25 tools in its collection – now that is impressive.
