The Craftsman C3 19.2V Compact Lithium-Ion Drill/Driver is the most recent addition to the already extensive line of the cordless C3 tool system. The latest technology that was used to build this compact and ergonomic drill makes it 30% lighter and gives it features normally associated with a full size drill. It comes standard with a 1/2" keyless chuck, two-speed gear box, 24 position adjustable torque clutch and a built-in LED work light in the handle.

The good news about this drill is that it is backwards compatible with all the NiCd and Li-ion batteries previously released for the C3 line of tools. The compact Li-ion batteries that come with the drill have a thinner profile then the regular Li-ion batteries and have slightly less overall capacity but still offer 10% more power then the older NiCd batteries. There is a handy battery charge level gauge built into the front of the batteries that, when pressed, turns from green to yellow to red, indicating the battery charge level.
