Kershaw Dimension Plain Edge Knife: Is That a Titanium Knife in Your Pocket…?
We’ve seen a lot of titanium in power tools—mostly to reduce weight. Kershaw debuted its new Dimension plain edge knife at the 2013 Shot Show in Vegas. If the Terminator used a knife, it would be this one. The handle is titanium with deeply machined grooves in the sides and finger contours on the bottom. The drop-point blade is made from 8Cr13MoV steel, which should hold an edge quite well. Kershaw included their SpeedSafe assisted-open on this knife, which can be accessed using the built-in flipper or thumbstud, and it features a three-position “Tri-Carry” pocketclip. Basically, we all want one. Now.
