Ridgid FlexShaft Drain Cleaning Machine

Dirty pipes getting you down? Ridgid’s FlexShaft Drain Cleaning Machine will get in and root out your problem, no problem. It delivers a wall-to-wall cleaning experience in 1-1/4″ to 4″ residential and commercial pipes up to 70′ long.

The FlexShaft uses chain knockers that expand to the size of the pipe, clearing the entire circumference. Thanks to its design, you can keep your inspection camera in the pipe while you clean. With the cable spinning inside a nylon sheath that’s housed in a fully contained drum, you get less mess when pulling out the line.

Ridgid has designed the FlexShaft to be easily carried from jobsite to jobsite. It’s compact and lightweight, and it works with both standard and carbide tip drain knockers. It can clear any blockages from grease clogs to lighter tree roots.

Toro 60V Snowblower

Toro revealed at GIE that they’ve recently added a 21″ snowblower to their cordless mix. This Power Clear model runs on Toro’s 60V platform, and it joins an established line of cordless tools geared toward the homeowner who is ready to get away from gas power.

The Toro 60V snowblower clears snow quickly, chucking 2″- 9″ snow piles up to 40′. Toro claims that the Power Clear model’s efficient design throws snow tighter and farther than any of their competition. It features a patented Power Edge auger – a curved, all-steel blade that cuts through wet and hard-packed snow and reduces clogging.

The Toro 60V Snowblower will retail for $749 when kitted with a 7.5Ah battery. Or, should you prefer the two 6.0Ah battery option, you can pick it up for $949.

Gearwrench Heated Gear

We’re at that time of the year where garages and shops can get really cold, and keeping warm can just about feel like another full-time job. Gearwrench is releasing a line of heated jackets, hoodies, fleeces, and vests to keep mechanics productive this winter.

Each piece from the heated lineup features three heating zones: the left chest, right chest, and midback. It has four adjustable settings, which you can toggle with a press of the power button. The heated gear runs off of a 5200mAh battery that can run for up to 10 hours on the low setting, or almost 4 hours on high. All of the Gearwrench heated gear is water-resistant, machine washable, and dryer safe.

Gearwrench will be debuting the whole line at this year’s SEMA show, with all four items becoming available by December. Gearwrench plans to expand the line later on in 2020.

Price: TBD

Bagotte BG700 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

Bagotte BG700 Robotic Vacuum CleanerPower tools are great, but around the house, you can find other tools and technology. We’ve been putting the new Bagotte BG700 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner to work. The Bagotte BG700 works with your existing WiFi network and comes fully app-enabled. We scheduled it daily to clean a large home and found it to be close to bullet-proof in terms of reliability.

In particular, the BG700 handles carpet-to-tile and carpet-to-vinyl transitions with ease. It also doesn’t get permanently “lost” underneath chairs or sofas. Finally, you get a good amount of run-time before it heads back to the charger to replenish its onboard battery. An included magnetic border strip helped us block off areas we didn’t want it venturing into.

If you have Alexa or Google Assistant, you can also set up the Bagotte BG700 robotic vacuum to clean on command.

You can get the Bagotte BG700 Robot Vacuum for $248.99 at Amazon.
