What is the difference between PSI and GPM?

PSI is the pressure (lbs. per square inch) at which the water exits the nozzle. The GPM (gallons per minute) refers to the amount of water volume that exits the nozzle during a specified amount of time.

How do I change the nozzles?

The included nozzles have standard ¼” fittings that insert directly into the end of the spray wand by depressing the brass ring on the wand, inserting the nozzle, then releasing the ring. The nozzle should then “snap” into place.

Can I use the Hydroshot accessories on this product?

The Hydroshot accessories are only designed (and rated) for use on the Hydroshot and cannot be used on other pressure washing equipment.

How do I operate the soap tank?

Fill the soap tank with a selected detergent. Secure the soap tank cap. Adjust the dial on the cap to allow for a lesser or greater flow of soap. For best results, the soap nozzle needs to be utilized to draw soap from the soap tank.

What is the cause of a "sputtering" type of sensation felt during operation?

Primarily after initial startup, residual air can still be trapped in the hose. Continue to hold down the trigger of the wand to allow the water to flow through the hose and expel any remaining air.

Product Description

The 2000 MAX psi / 1.85 MAX gpm pressure washer from WORX generates maximum cleaning power for dirt and grime removal. Maximum internal pressure per CSA test standards is 2000psi, and under typical load, working pressure is 1500 psi and 1.2 gpm. Weighing in at only 15.8 lbs., it’s not a strain to carry around this cleaner. And its efficient axial cam generates 1800 total Cleaning Units of power. What are those? That’s PSI x GPM (Pressure per Square Inch x Gallons Per Minute), and 1800 is a lot for a pressure washer of this size. It’s the perfect combination of power and portability. When you want to get some no-muss, no-fuss cleaning done, but with way more power than a garden hose with a nozzle, this right-sized solution is the way to do it. The 20-foot hose is longer than other pressure washers of this type, so you’ll have an easier time reaching up over trees and shrubs and getting down to clean your vehicle’s undercarriage. The 35-foot cord also offers a lot of flexibility. What’s more, this pressure washer costs much less to operate over its lifetime than gas-powered models. It’s cleaner and quieter, too.

So far so good. Came with all the hose attachments/nozzle.

So far so good. Came with all the hose attachments/nozzle.
For some reason the description of the product lists that you only get the 15 degree nozzle and the turbo nozzle which is fine to be honest as those are the ones that get used the most but mine came with all the attachments. Maybe some people here bought the refurbished version but the new product has all the attachments which are 40 degrees, 25 degrees, 15 degrees, 0 degrees, and the turbo attachment. The turbo attachment is the one that shoots a dot but it rotates/swirls in a circle to create more coverage. It is definitely a required attachment for cleaning dirty brick/concrete walkways. The 0 degrees is the strongest attachment but it's like trying to clean with a pencil eraser, it'll take forever. Don't get confused with some of the more no name chinese brands which lie about the PSI, this pressure washer is built well and you won't regret the purchase. Worx is a fairly recognized brand although it is Chinese it has operated from the US for a fairly long time. If you really want a slightly stronger pressure washer Sunjoe SPX3000 would be an option but I personally find Sunjoe products to be low quality and had a few products from them break on me and I'm not really convinced how much stronger it really is. For cleaning concrete/brick driveways and walkways, this pressure washer is strong enough. I used it for the wooden deck in my backyard and the turbo nozzle was strong enough to clean moss off the wood but also strong enough to take off the paint if I got too close and didn't control the distance. So I imagine if you need to clean the deck from loose paint before you paint it, this pressure washer would do a good enough job.
