- MORE POWER, MORE RUNTIME: This walk-behind lawn mower features a Brushless Motor 2.0 that delivers 40% more power and a 10% longer runtime than first-gen brushless motors. Plus, a 10X longer life than brushed motors
- SAME BATTERY, EXPANDABLE POWER: The same Power Share batteries that run this lawn mower can conveniently be used with 140+ power tools, outdoor power equipment, and lifestyle products from the Worx Power Share platform

-
High-Capacity Power Share PRO Batteries
This 21 in. cordless lawn mower uses 4 powerful 20V Power Share PRO batteries for 80V of impressive performance. Power Share PRO batteries deliver extended run times, plus heat and impact protection.
-
High-Efficiency Brushless Motor
Longer & stronger—That’s what you get with a brushless motor. They get more done on a single charge, dole out more power, and last longer than other motors based on a brush design.
-
Auto-Intellicut Technology
Internal sensors in this 80V mower detect when the grass gets thicker and automatically dial up the torque to power through. On less-dense grass, Auto-Intellicut dials it down to conserve battery.
21” Steel Deck With Nutricut For A Healthier Lawn
The premium mulching capabilities from the steel cutting deck not only put nutrients back into the lawn, but water too. You can also bag or side discharge depending on the needs of the lawn.
For More Power & Run Time
Until now there hasn’t been a battery-powered lawn mower with rear wheel drive that had professional-strength performance. Worx Nitro outdoor tools were designed specifically to take on that challenge.
How does the Auto-Intellicut function work?
It automatically senses when grass conditions are higher and thicker. Instead of bogging down, cutting capabilities speed up to cut more efficiently. When grass is less demanding, it will utilize lower setting to conserve battery.
How is Auto-Intellicut different than the variable speed control lever?
Auto-Intellicut refers to the motor changing “speed” to cut more efficiently. On the other hand, variable speed control lever adjusts the self-propel speed, or pace, at which the lawn mower moves. While operating in more demanding grass conditions
Why doesn’t this come with a mulch plug?
No more need to store, or lose, the mulch plug. Instead of a plug, the lawn mower deck has a sliding “door” that can be opened or closed to change from bag or mulch/side-discharge modes

after waiting months for the machine to go down in price -- yes its very expensive for a battery machine-- i decided to just go for it.
i got the unit delivered while i was on a trip abroad. to my surprise when i got home, my 110 lb wife not only had assembled it but mowed the entire property! i was blown away.
after several months of use, i cannot say anything negative about the mower. i can usually run it for about one hour with very little self propelled settings. im a bit on the fit side so its not a big deal for me to go up and down hill with it. my wife, not so much and she uses it a lot. on average the machine will last 50 mins to one hour of none stop mowing. also removing the bag made it light and more manurable.
i cannot express how happy i am with this purchase. i also got a WORX blower and weed trimmer and they all share the same batteries. the machine stores really easly! it has some weight to it but if my tiny wife and fold it and put it away im sure almost anyone can.

Before this model, I was using a Worx mower that use the now discontinued 56v batteries. It was pretty effective, taking two 56v batteries at a time , but it would take me at least 4 batteries to mow my whole lawn, and that was when I was able to mow the lawn at least once a week or so. If I was unable to do it in time, usually because it was raining on my days off or I'd had to go to work on a day off, sometimes it would take me upwards of a month to be able to properly get things mowed. At that point, it would take me at least 6 batteries worth, if not 8. I'm sure now that I didn't make things easier on myself by not using the bag to catch the grass, and after a while I wasn't as adamant on cleaning and maintaining it, but still.
Last year, I came across this model on sale. I was in the market for a lawn tractor, or at least a self-propelled gas model, because I was tired of having to devote half my day to just upkeeping my yard. Looking at this, I wasn't sure if it would be much better, using four 20v batteries, which adds up to 32 less volts overall. On top of that, it has the option for self-propulsion, and headlights, both of which I was SURE would kill the batteries before I would be close to finished. However, since it was on sale, and I was actually told by a family member they'd split the bill as a birthday gift, I figured, what's the worst that would happen?
The day comes that it's delivered. First, I was pretty shocked, it was heavier than I had expected, because the old model was fairly light. This was made with a heavier body, heavier wheels, and the batteries and basecamp dock that powers everything was fairly sturdy. Assembly, as far as I can remember, was a non-issue. If I remember right it comes fully functional out of the box, and all you have to do is remove the packaging, the protection, attach the dock and insert the batteries, then off you go. The self-propulsion is surprisingly strong, full speed requiring me to almost jog behind the mower to keep pace. The mower self-regulates the speed of the blade, so you aren't going full throttle on light grass, and not choking out the motor by trying to whack down thick grass with too slow of a speed. The headlights are headlights; I really don't know what else to say about them. They work good, if you're in a shady spot around sunset, but I don't have much use for them.
The REAL surprise came from my first outing with the mower, and that surprise kept happening every time afterwards. I start cutting the grass the same way I had every single time before, took the same path, kept about the same pace; One patch mowed, another after that, then the bulk of everything in the main section of my yard. As things went on, I'd noticed the mower wasn't running out of steam, and I was finishing up well before I would with the old model. By the time I was done, I checked the batteries and found that every battery had only used a single light worth of power, probably 20%. The next time I cut the grass, I tried using the bag, and the results were just as good.
Now, for more background, most of the grass on my land is on a slope, where it's flat is bumpy, I live more in the woods on the outskirts of town, and I just let it be its natural state, I don't fertilize, I don't spread weed killers, I don't do anything to my yard outside of watering it when it's really dry out and cutting it when it needs it. Because of how strong this mower is, I can actually go a longer time between cuts without concern, which seems to actually be giving me a healthier yard without lifting a finger.
If you have a larger yard, this probably won't be the mower for you, unless you have spare batteries or don't mind taking time to recharge batteries between passes. If you have a smaller, flatter yard, this is honestly TOO MUCH mower for you. You'd be doing yourself a favor by springing for a cheaper model that doesn't use four batteries, or perhaps just going with a mower that uses an extension cord. If you're like me and have a more maintenance-heavy yard, where you might need a small lawn tractor but don't need something super wide, this will do you pretty well. The only advice I have to give is if you use the self-propulsion, turn that off before you have to back up at all, and do it earlier than you'd think, because when you do go to back up, you'll hear a clunking or grinding sound otherwise. Other than that, this is a great alternative to gas engine mowers, if you don't want to bother with constantly refilling gas and oil, checking spark plugs and filters, and just want to go out and cut your grass at a moments notice.
Directions are pretty much pictures only so takes awhile to really learn it.
First time using did not know how to slow it down. Bout peed in my pants watching my husband tring to keep up with it! lol We finally figured it out and it is great.
If we run into any issues we will update later!! For now though we can't say enough about it!
While the initial cost of the mower was higher than others, I am hoping that the investment provides long term use, as this Worx mower is replacing a Honda gas mower that performed flawlessly for more than 30 yrs.!
Over a half acre of hilly yard ,
cons
I have misplaced the side mower attachment thing you need to put on so it shoots out the side.
It needs to be permanent part of the mower.
when trying to pull the mower in reverse the wheels lock on it,
I know this is a safety thing
And i always forget,
but still sucks dragging a mower backwards then picking it up.
or pushing it forward till it frees up.
the under belly needs cleaned after every use but this is normal i am guessing,
cons
This mower pulls me up the hills,
I am pretty happy with power it has.
the light on the front is great to,
it changes power bands when u hit deeper grass
