Custom Klein Tool Bag – Your Bag, Your Way!

Custom Klein Tool Bag - Your Bag, Your Way!

Looking for something to set you apart on the job site or as a unique gift for a tradesman? Now you can customize your Klein tool bag!

Klein is going with a classic design in what they’re calling the Klein Signature Series Canvas Tool Bag line. The big deal is the custom embroidery. Your imagination and 15 characters set the limit on what you can put on your bag, though there’s no mention of whether or not they’ll decline orders with offensive terms.

10-Second Summary

  • Customize your bag with up to 15 characters
  • Four sizes available: 12″, 14″, 16″, 18″
  • 14″ – 18″ sizes have a deluxe option with shoulder strap and 10 pockets
  • $82.99 – $119.98

Letters, numbers, and symbols are all on the menu. The embroidery will be in brown with all capital letters and an Arial font style. Not sure what to put on your bag? Here are a few thoughts:

  • Your name
  • Significant date (like when you earned Journeyman or Master status)
  • @ProToolReviews (or your own handle if you don’t like ours)
  • I <3 PTR
  • #GatorNation

You have four size choices for your custom Klein tool bag – 12″, 14″, 16″, and 18″. 14″ – 18″ bags have a Deluxe option that comes with a shoulder strap and 10 interior pockets. Pricing runs from $82.99 to $119.98. You won’t find these at your normal Klein retailers. Klein Connection is where you’ll place the order and you can expect it to take 3-4 weeks before you receive your bag. You can also shop for all kinds of Klein gear while you’re there.

There’s no indication that other color options will become available later on. It will be interesting to see if creating a custom Klein tool bag takes off and opens up other possibilities. I’d love to see the option to add a company logo, although I’d be more likely to add a Florida Gators logo to mine.

Additional Highlights

  • Designed using No. 8 canvas
  • Rivet reinforced openings
  • Steel-hinged frame
  • Leather handles
  • Steel buckles with leather straps to secure closure

How to Use a Tap and Die to Create or Repair Threads

When using a tap and die set, it’s important to understand the terms. “Tapping” occurs when you cut, or recut threads into a hole or nut. Most auto mechanics and metalworkers have likely dealt with this issue.
