Mac Tools Smartphone App for Diagnostic Codes

Mac Tools Releases Diagnostic Codes Smartphone App

Mac Tools is bringing its company into the 21st century with a couple of apps designed to help automotive mechanics gain the edge in mobile diagnostics. The new Mac Tools OBD II TaskMobile Lite smartphone app gives automotive professionals “vocabulary definitions” of diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) that cause a vehicle’s check engine light to illuminate. This is a free app which is available for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices. You have to be one heck of a master mechanic to have memorized the more-than 5,000 diagnostic trouble codes. The TaskMobile Lite provides mechanics with a dictionary of diagnostic trouble codes right in the palm of their hands. We’d wager that having a tool like this will enable pros to get their job done faster and more efficiently.
