Wolverine Drillbit Work Boots Review with BOA

Oil Rigger – just the name inspires an image of toughness and that’s exactly what the new Drillbit Oil Rigger Work Boots from Wolverine are designed to be. The Wolverine Drillbit work boots are made from waterproof leather and 1000 Denier upper with Wolverine’s Armor Tek overlay that adds a layer of protection to areas of high wear and tear like the toe. Wolverine’s PC Dry waterproof membrane helps keep feet dry in wet conditions while the wave mesh lining wicks away any excess moisture. For comfort and safety, the Drillbit offers an Ortholite footbed and a lightweight oil- and slip-resistant rubber lug sole.

Wolverine Drillbit Boots Observations

What Wolverine fans (that would be the boots, not the superhero) will be quick to notice is that the Wolverine Drillbit work boots are their first work boot to offer the Boa Closure System. The closure system is an innovative lace tightening feature that replaces standard laces that have to be tied. The laces are attached to a reel in the upper middle of the boot that loosens or tightens by simply twisting the reel. Manufactured from aircraft-grade stainless steel, the laces tighten evenly and smoothly and can be easily adjusted throughout the day to maximize comfort.
