It’s getting close to the time that battery powered tools are going to make pneumatic obsolete.

Yup. I have a bunch of yard tools from Ego. They’re great.

I have the DEWALT 40v line trimmer, hedger, and blower, they’re a little on the heavy side but for my own personal use the weight is worth the trade of messing with gas tools or dragging a hundred foot extension cord out and they’re the same power as gas ones. I also know that my new 18v and 12v lithium drills are twice as light as their nicad predecessors. I don’t see cordless nail guns getting lighter or smaller than pneumatic. at best they could be close to the same. I’d actually be interested in this at a sane price point. I’ve considered the battery options from all the major brands, they are heavy and cumbersome. I wouldn’t want to install crown with the battery options right now.

So…. I have a 4500psi bottle from paintball that cost $250 bucks. A better regulator, crappy air hose, and a carry pouch is worth an extra $850? I’m in!

$1100 for a portable, wearable, 4500 psi time bomb? Not to mention the cost and inconvenience to refill.
No thanks.

There’s not a chance that an air tank is going to take out the new rage of battery operated tools
