One caveat we found is that while the miter saw stand will fit most miter saws up to 12″, it is not intended for 12″ sliding or larger sliding miter saws. This is likely due to a potential problem with stability caused by the back-heavy nature of those types of saws.

The Ryobi Miter Saw stand has adjustable length extension arms that have smooth rollers for facilitating multiple cuts across a single piece of material. There are also positive stops for repetitive cutting. Quick release mounting saw brackets mean that you can quickly release your  miter saw and fold up the stand for ease of portability. And when it folds up, it really folds up – the collapsible legs and retracted extension arms make this a truly portable solution.

As for adjustability, the material supports have tool-less height controls and we found that the system worked well with non-Ryobi branded saws. This is a solid product, and if you can find it, it’s around $125 or less, making it a great deal.
