DeWalt 60V Max SDS-Max Rotary Hammer Video Preview

World of Concrete 2017 offered up plenty of compelling tools. What you don’t necessarily expect to find is a heavy focus on cordless options at a concrete show, but there were some gems. We found the new DeWalt 60V Max SDS-Max Rotary Hammer on display and couldn’t wait to get it in our hands.

There’s not a ton of information available right now since the official press release and product page aren’t available yet. What we do know is that you can expect to get thirty 1/2-inch x 6-inch holes in concrete with one FlexVolt 3.0/9.0 amp hour battery. There are 6.1 joules of impact energy available along with an impact rate of 3150 BPM.

Vibration control and torque control are built in to help protect users more effectively. As just the second cordless SDS-Max rotary hammer to hit the market, the price is also pretty impressive. It’s expected to be kitted with two of the higher capacity FlexVolt batteries for $799. Check out the video for more details!
