Greenworks Widens Gaze And Enters Home Technology Space At CES 2023
Greenworks is well-known for its lawn care products and branched out with a line of cordless power tools to supplement its 24V system. At CES 2023, there were new Greenworks tools and gear that many folks never expected to see the brand get into.

New Greenworks Tools and Gear
Greenworks E-Bikes and E-Scooter
As a cycling enthusiast and former Ironman triathlete, I had a little insider information that Greenworks was thinking about an E-bike and I’m stoked that we’re finally seeing it! When I say “it”, I really mean “them”, because there are three models to choose from.
If offroad adventuring is your game, Greenworks has a couple of options for you. A 20-inch E-bike takes on a look that reminds us of classic motorcycles with its retro design and prominent LED headlight.
If your E-bike vision is more along the lines of hitting the trails with a mountain bike design, then Greenworks’ 26-inch fat tire mode is the way to go. A front suspension absorbs the initial impacts while greater seat post adjustment helps you dial in a proper fit.
With a larger wheel design, the 27.5-inch Greenworks E-bike is your best bet for getting from point A to point B efficiently and without the need for gas or diesel. Heck, you don’t even need to fight with the traffic if you have good bike paths or sidewalks to ride.
If an E-scooter is more your idea of a good time, Greenworks has you covered as well. The one we have a photo of is a 48V version. However, there are rumors that there are Greenworks 24V, 60V, or 80V battery options so you can use the same packs to keep your lawn in shape that you do for your E-scooter.
Greenworks Indoor, Outdoor, and Doorbell Cameras
Greenworks developed a line of indoor and outdoor cameras that has the ability to connect up to 16 units. They have night vision capability, remote pan and tilt functions, and two-way see and talk. Camera options are available with fixed or rotating domes.
Additionally, there’s a doorbell camera as part of the line. Similar to the cameras we already discussed, it has night vision and two-way communications. Like other video doorbells, there’s no camera movement, though.
Greenworks Robotic Vacuum
With the Optimow robotic lawn mower line already available, making the jump to a robotic vacuum is a natural move as new Greenworks tools and gear make their way into home technology. With this first-generation model, Greenworks made a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop system. For those of you that have felt the pains of early robotic vacuum models from other brands, renew your hope in automated cleaning as this model can go up to 45 days before you have to empty the container.
Greenworks Life. Power. Hub. Home Energy Storage System
Having solar panels to reduce your electric bill is great and it gets even better if you have a battery system to store the excess power you don’t use. The Greenworks Life. Power. Hub. is an expandable battery system that takes the extra solar juice and stores it for good use once the sun’s rays aren’t producing power for you.
Greenworks EV Smart Charger
Have an electric vehicle or thinking about getting one? The new Greenworks EV Smart Charger offers fast, affordable charging and can integrate with the Life. Power. Hub. to use some of that free solar energy you’re collecting.

What has our attention is its line-by-line cutting that’s accurate to an inch and completely wire-free installation.
