Professional Tool Reviews for Pros

Bosch EC Brushless Tools Lineup

Bosch is preparing for the launch of their newest EC Brushless 12 Volt Max drills/drivers, 18 Volt drills/drivers, and 18 Volt Socket Ready impact drivers and wrenches. Without jumping into a physics lesson for those of you that aren’t familiar with brushless motor technology, it results in the benefits of increased run time and longer battery lifespans. In fact, Bosch tells us that the Bosch EC brushless tools will feature up to 65% longer run time and have double the lifespan oover previous generation batteries. Additionally, a common themes among the 6 new tools being released include lighter weights and more compact designs.

Both have two operating speeds of 0-400 rpm and 0-1300 rpm. They also feature three LED lights to illuminate dark work areas.
