ECHO eFORCE 56V outdoor power tools system

During a live event, ECHO launched an entirely new line of cordless outdoor power tools they’re calling the ECHO eFORCE 56V System. This completely replaces their current 58V system with all new tools, so it’s kind of a big deal.

We look forward to getting our hands on these tools for the first time at the GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky.

ECHO eFORCE 56V tools will be available in Q1 2022, and they plan to release 10 tools, two batteries, and two chargers. ECHO covered just about all the core tools you could expect—even a pretty robust Pro Attachment Series with two different powerheads and up to 16 different attachments.

The new products address the needs of both high-end homeowners up to professional landscapers and arborists.

So what tools are included in the ECHO eFORCE 56V cordless lineup? Let’s go through each tool one by one.

DLM-2100SP 21″ Self-Propelled 3-in-1 Lawn Mower

Of course, no outdoor power equipment line would be complete without a lawnmower. ECHO puts a solid foot forward with a self-propelled model that seems to cover all the bases.

Final Thoughts

We’ll know more about performance and runtimes after we get our hands on the tools following GIE. These tools look very well-designed. ECHO is no stranger to outdoor power equipment. Their direction on these tools should do a good job of hitting both the high-end consumer market as well as professional users increasingly drifting towards battery-powered outdoor power tools.
