5 HART Power Tools for New Homeowners

5 Hart Power Tools for New Homeowners

So you bought your first home and you’re ready to kick back and relax next to the pool. Before the realtor even hands you the keys, you already have a to-do list, and it’s growing by the minute. Hart has the tools you need to get the job done, and you can find them conveniently at your local Walmart. Here are 5 HART power tools our team recommends you start with.

Hart Cordless Drill and Impact Driver

For starters, every homeowner needs a drill. Even better is a combo kit with a drill and an impact driver. Between installing shelves, assembling furniture, hanging TVs, and all the other things you’re going to add to make your house a home, drilling with one tool and driving screws with the other is a convenient time-saver.

HART’s HPCK202B combo kit includes a 2-speed 1/2-inch drill driver and an impact driver to meet those needs. It also has a charger and two 1.5Ah batteries to get you started. Because you’re starting with a couple of batteries in the combo, you can save money by purchasing other tools without them.

The kit is a solid value at $129.

HART 1/2-Inch Drill Driver

  • 2-speed gearbox with variable speed trigger
  • 1/2-inch chuck
  • 3.8 pounds with 1.5Ah battery (3.0 pounds bare)

HART Impact Driver

  • 0 – 2500 RPM
  • 1700 in-lbs of torque
  • Single-speed drive with variable speed trigger
  • 1/4-inch hex chuck
  • 3.4 pounds with 1.5Ah battery (2.6 pounds bare)

Bonus: Grab HART’s 200-piece drill and drive set for $32.88 and make sure you have the accessories you need for this combo!

HART Cordless Inflator

Whether it’s pool toys, bike tires, or car tires, you’re going to find plenty of reasons to need an inflator. Why not make it a cordless one that works on the battery as your other tools?

HART has several to choose from and we recommend the cordless dual function inflator. One side is a typical tire inflator with 150 PSI on the top end. You can even fill high PSI items such as road bike tires with it. The opposite side is a high-volume inflator, making quick work of things like air mattresses.

It’s a design that’s really easy to use. Simply set your target pressure on the LCD screen and then hit either the high-pressure or high-volume button. The inflator shuts itself when it reaches the pressure you set.

You can add this one for just $34. If you’d like to buy it as a kit and add a 1.5Ah battery and charger, it’s $88.

HART Cordless LED Light

Sooner or later the power is going to go out. Hopefully, it’s a short outage, but having a flashlight on hand is invaluable if it happens at night. There are also plenty of other reasons to have a light on hand (like discovering the family of opossums living under your shed).

HART has several cordless LED light designs to choose from. Your best bet is to see which one best balances your needs for light when the power goes off with the kind of light you’d like to have for your other DIY projects or adventures.

Still not sure? My personal favorite is Hart’s 20V spot light. It can blast 2500 lumens up to 600 yards away. Sound too powerful? Not to worry—three settings let you choose the amount of light you need.

The light’s pistol grip offers a natural hand position and if you want to go hands-free, the light can stand up on the battery or you can hang it from a cable.

Pick up this one for $20 as a bare tool or $79 with a 1.5Ah battery and charger.

HART Cordless Rotary Tool

The number of things you can do with a rotary tool is only limited by your imagination and how long you’re willing to spend on YouTube. You can cut, grind, sand, polish, and so much more. Plus, you can use them on almost any material—just grab the right accessory for the job.

HART’s cordless rotary tool is capable of speed from 5000 to 34000 RPM and is designed to hold accessories right on the housing. You can mount the tool on a pegboard above your workbench or leave it free and take it wherever the job or craft is. Thanks to a flexible shaft, most of the weight is out of your hands while the pen-style business end makes precision work easier.

Hart 20V Cordless Rotary Tool

Grab it for $69 as a bare tool or $104 with a 1.5Ah battery and charger. Both options include a 33-piece accessory kit to get you started.

More Accessories!

HART has a full suite of accessories to supplement your growing power tool collection. You can get 2.0Ah and 4.0Ah batteries to extend your runtime. There’s a multi-port battery charger available. Plus, they have all the accessories your power tools need to do the job you’re tasking them to.
