Husqvarna K 970 Power Cutter Updated!

Husqvarna K 970 Power Cutter

Husqvarna K 970 Power Cutter Now Features Lighter Weight and Better Ergonomics

The Husqvarna K 970 Power Cutter already enjoys a solid reputation in its class and looks to further that with some improvements. “The K 970 is already an appreciated product, and the new K 970 is improved in a number of details in order to meet our customers’ high demands,” says Johan Simonsson, Global Product Manager – Power Cutters. “To sum up, all the new improvements contribute in making the new K 970 a powerful, efficient and reliable machine for professional users.”

Husqvarna K 970 Improved Cylinder

The new version of the K 970 benefits from an improved cylinder and carburetor. This results in greater capacity. Combined with the new muffler and heat deflector, the cylinder helps to regulate temperatures for optimal performance.

Husqvarna K 970 Blade Guard

The 14 inch model of the Husqvarna K 970 employs a magnesium blade guard that reduces weight. The 16 inch model will still feature a steel blade guard. The magnesium blade guard’s lower weight helps to improve balance as well as having stepless guard adjustments. The new blade guards also have a reversible blade bushing. When switching between blades with different size center holes, this should make blade changes easier.

The Husqvarna K 970 comes equipped with the X-Torque engine that delivers 6.5 horsepower with lower emissions and fuel consumption than other 2 stroke engines on the market. To help conserve water, there is a control valve to ensure that the user is getting enough water without overdoing use. Husqvarna has designed the K 970 for heavy cutting applications in concrete, asphalt, stone, pipe, and metal. Take a look at Husqvarna’s website for full details.
