Fluke 62 MAX Infrared Thermometers

There isn’t a lot of information available on these yet, but Fluke is releasing two new infrared thermometers: the Fluke 62 MAX and 62 MAX + (PLUS) models. Both new IR thermometers are designed to improve upon the already-decent Fluke 62. The new models are small and compact, and Fluke thinks they will provide everything you’d need – as you might expect from the well-regarded folks at Fluke.

Fluke 62 MAX Infrared Thermometers Features

Small in size, extremely accurate, and very easy to use, the new models are IP54 rated for dust and water resistance. Fluke also designed the new 62 MAX and 62 MAX PLUS IR thermometers to be precise—and yet still rugged enough to withstand a 3-meter drop. In fact, Fluke is touting that the 62 MAX and 62 MAX + IR thermometers are so tough, they are the only IR thermometers around that you can handle without care.

One of the most obvious upgrades from the Fluke 62 is the shortened length of the gun. The Fluke 62 MAX infrared thermometers and the 62 MAX + (PLUS) thermometers are even more compact. They’ve also updated the front LED display, adding three new buttons that enable navigation through settings and configuration for the IR thermometer. Ergonomics have also been slightly improved, with a more comfortable handle shape that slightly bows out in the middle to conform to the natural shape of the hand while gripping.
