Best New Tools Announced for June 2025
Milwaukee M18 Fuel 7 1/4-Inch Rear Handle Circular Saw
The second-gen Milwaukee M18 Fuel Rear Handle Circular Saw (2930) boasts improvements across the board over the previous model. This new model features a top speed of 6,000 RPMs and is rated for 700 cuts per charge when paired with an M18 Forge HD 12.0Ah battery. Moreover, it’s 1.5 pounds lighter than the 2830, which is a big accomplishment for a traditionally heavy tool.
Most of the other features remain unchanged. You still get a max cut capacity of 2 5/8 inches, a strong electric brake, and positive depth and bevel detents. The real benefits here are the improved runtime from 570 to 700 cuts per charge and the weight reduction. These two factors help improve overall productivity and reduce fatigue.
Price: $279 (bare tool), $449 (kit)
Greenworks 60V Hybrid 3000 PSI Pressure Washer
When you start looking at the electric pressure washer market, you’d be hard pressed to find a company with a broader selection than Greenworks. It’s powered by a brushless motor that produces up to 3,000 PSI with a max flow rate of 2.0 GPM. These ratings make it one of Greenworks’ most powerful models in the 60V battery-powered lineup, and it’s one of the strongest electric models overall!
Even better, it’s a hybrid model, letting you power it with either a 60V Greenworks battery or an AC extension cord.
Price: $649.99 kit
Ryobi 18V One+ HP Brushless Hammer Drill
At its core, the Ryobi PBLHM102 sports a brushless motor that churns out up to 700 RPMs on low and 2,150 RPMs on high speed. It also produces up to 850 in-lbs of torque and a max hammer rate of 34,400 BPM. These are noticeable improvements over the previous model, and it definitely showed during our hands-on testing.
Ergonomically, there are no major differences between these tools, which is a good thing, since we found the last iteration to be well-balanced and easy to maneuver. After getting some hands-on with this drill, it’s clear that PBLHM102 is a genuine performance upgrade over previous models. In fact, it’s Ryobi’s most powerful hammer drill yet.
Price: $129 (bare), $179 (kit)
Hilti NBL 6-22 Jobsite Blower
Are we seeing Hilti jump into the OPE market? Well, not exactly. Earlier this year at World of Concrete, Hilti launched a couple of products that trace their roots to the landscaping world; however, this batch of tools, including the NBL 6-22 blower, is 100% jobsite-focused. It pumps out up to 460 CFM with a top air speed of 119 MPH. While it’s not the most powerful battery-powered blower on the market, this is plenty of power for removing debris from your jobsite or cleaning off equipment after a long work day.
Its lightweight design, work glove-friendly controls, and telescoping blower tube make it a practical choice for professionals. So, whether you’re blowing off a foundation before the walls start going up or clearing away metal shavings after cutting rebar bundles, Hilti gives you the cleanup tool you need without forcing you to buy into another battery system.
Price: $219 bare
Skil 40V 24-inch Hedge Trimmer
Skil’s roster of outdoor power equipment puts a big emphasis on value, and that stands true with their newest 40V 24-inch hedge trimmer. While the HT2400C-11 doesn’t make any performance leaps over the last model, it offers some welcome design upgrades that make it a more user-friendly experience. Oh, and it’s also around $20 less than the previous iteration, to boot.
If you’re on Skil’s PWRCore 40 system and you’re looking for a hedge trimmer to round out your lawn care arsenal, the HT2400C-11 offers a good value with the performance to knock out most residential hedge trimming jobs.
Price: $119 kit
Metabo HPT Drywall Cut Out Tool
While Metabo HPT has a few drywall-specific tools in both its corded and 18V MultiVolt lineups, it might be surprising to learn that this is the brand’s first cutout tool. It delivers bit speeds of up to 28,000 RPM, with a soft-start function that reduces start-up recoil.
Compared to similar tools from other brands, the M18DYAQ4 is also lightweight, at just 1.6 pounds. It balances the line between speed, price, and weight, aiming to be as comfortable in your hand as it is on your wallet. For these reasons, it’s a strong contender in the market for those who do a lot of drywall work.
Price: $119 bare
Bosch 15-Amp 10-inch Table Saw
For years, the Bosch 4100XC-10 table saw reigned supreme here at our shop, praised for its accuracy, cutting power, and user-friendly design. Now, they’re upping the game with the Bosch 15-Amp 10-Inch table saw (GTS15-10) that boasts improvements from the top down. Bosch made several improvements, most notably in the speed and cut capacity departments.
The open-frame design provides excellent access to accessories, and the improved stand deployment system relieves a known pain point for Pros. If you’ve been on the hunt for a quality, portable table saw for your next job, Bosch has you covered!
Price: $649
Makita 40V max 16 5/16-inch Circular Saw
The Makita 40V max XGT 16 5/16-Inch Circular Saw is a beast of a saw. The blade spins at a top speed of 2100 RPM. This is slower than smaller saws, which allows for greater torque levels to power through large lumber pieces. With a 6 1/2-inch cut capacity at 90° and 4-3/16 inch at 45°, this saw lets you cut 6x and 4x material in a single pass!
Its thoughtful design and feature set make the GSH06 a great option for Pros who need single-pass cutting for larger lumber. If you’re in the market for a heavy-duty, large-capacity circular saw, the GSH06 proves that going cordless no longer means sacrificing power or accuracy.
Price: $999 (bare), $1399 (kit)
20V Max XR 12-Inch Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw
Cut capacity and runtime are two major factors to consider when selecting a cordless miter saw, and the DeWalt DCS785 12-inch sliding miter saw has the answer for both. It boasts DeWalt’s largest cut capacity on the 20V platform, with an impressive 14 inches of horizontal reach, and the ability to cut 6 1/2-inch baseboard vertically.
So what about runtime? Well, DeWalt equipped this saw with what they’re calling Cut. Capture. Charge; a regenerative braking system that captures and redirects power back to the battery, which would otherwise be wasted. In addition to this, the DCS785 is compatible with all DeWalt 20V and FlexVolt batteries.
Along with these helpful features, this saw also features a double-bevel system, positive miter and bevel stops, improved dust collection, and an adjustment-free cut-line indicator for improved accuracy.
Price: $699 (bare tool), $879 (kit)
