Husqvarna 90cc Chainsaw Options Target Higher Power, Efficiency, and Reliability

Husqvarna knows gas is still the way to go for chainsaws at the top of the food chain. Bolstering the high-performance end of their impressive lineup, the Husqvarna 592 XP and 585 chainsaws target tree care and forestry Pros with improvements that make the 90cc class even better.

Husqvarna 592 XP Chainsaw

In a nutshell, Husqvarna’s 92.7cc 592 XP chainsaw addresses your productivity with greater power, improved physical design, and greater reliability in heavy-duty applications.

Husqvarna 592 XP Chainsaw

It starts with best-in-class cutting capacity. Husqvarna isn’t talking about capacity in the sense of the size of the bar, but in how quickly it cuts through wood based on a benchmark. Essentially, the higher the capacity, the more efficiently you can work.

According to third-party tests, the Husqvarna 592 XP provides 5% more cutting capacity than its next closest competition—the Stihl MS 661 C-M. They point to the saw’s X-Torq engine and X-Cut chain as key elements to the faster cutting performance.

Husqvarna also claims a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio. The 16.8-pound weight (dry and without bar/chain) and 7.6 HP output on the 592 XP offer an improvement over Sithl’s MS 661 C-M and MS 661 Magnum.

The X-Tough Light bar comes into play as the saw’s lower center of gravity and balance make it easier to manuever.

The Husqvarna 592 XP features AutoTune 3.0, a technology designed to prime the engine for top performance in all conditions. Husqvarna tells us that startups are streamlined, with only one starting procedure required no matter the conditions or temperature of the engine.

All of this wraps up with a bar range that covers 18 to 36 inches.
