Like many power scrubbers, the GSP01 has an auxiliary handle to give you more stability and control. This is a useful feature, considering the scrubber head can be adjusted to any angle and has an impressive reach. You can set the scrubber head between a fixed mode and a free-moving mode to match whichever one makes it easier to clean your target area.

The floor pads attach via a hook-and-loop system, and the brush attachment clips directly into the power head. Makita also offers these attachments and other compatible accessories individually, so you can stay stocked up.

Should You Buy It?
Makita is the first major Pro-targeted brand to introduce a telescoping power scrubber, and they went all out. Its high brush speeds and multiple attachments make it a really versatile cleaning machine. If you’re after something for medium to heavy-duty industrial cleaning jobs, the Makita GSP01 will get it done.
However, like most specialized equipment, it comes with a price premium, sitting at just under $1000 for the kit. If you’re a homeowner who needs something for occasional tough cleaning, there are value-oriented power scrubbers on the market from brands like Ryobi that may be better suited for those jobs.
