Chemical Guys PM2000 Pressure Washer Makes Vehicle Detailing at Home Easier
In 2022, Chemical Guys released the ProFlow Pressure Washer, a compact electric model that simplified home auto detailing. Now, three years after the original model’s release, the design team added some quality-of-life upgrades for a better user experience. I’ll give you an updated outlook on what to expect with the ProFlow PM2000 Pro Pressure Washer to see if it’s a good fit for you.
Note: While you’re here, check out our favorite electric pressure washers!
Chemical Guys ProFlow PM2000 Pressure Washer Performance
- Model: PM2000 Pro
- Max water pressure: 2030 PSI
- Max water flow: 1.77 GPM
- 1680-watt electric motor
The Chemical Guys PM2000 Pro pressure washer is designed with automotive cleaning in mind. It features a 1680-watt motor that produces up to 2030 PSI of water pressure at a flow rate of 1.77 GPM. While you shouldn’t expect these numbers to compete with top-of-the-line electric pressure washers, it still has the chops for removing soft dirt and grime from a variety of surfaces.
However, those specs are the max-rated numbers. During use, it achieves around 1350 PSI and 1.06 GPM. For automotive detailers, you’ll get the flow rate and pressure needed for effective cleaning, but the relatively low strength ensures you won’t damage your car’s paint or finish.
As with most pressure washers, you can also use the ProFlow PM2000 Pro to clear off other outdoor surfaces like walkways and patios. While pressure washers in this class aren’t meant for removing severe levels of grime, this unit should make quick work of light-duty cleaning jobs.
Chemical Guys ProFlow PM2000 Pressure Washer Design
- Dimensions (LxWxH): 14 x 9 x 8.25
- Weight: 13.2 lbs
- Hose length: 25 ft
- Power cable length: 35 ft
- 360° locking caster wheels

Chemical Guys designed the PM2000 Pro pressure washer to be ultra compact. At only 14 inches long, it’s much smaller than a lot of electric pressure washers we’ve reviewed.
Plus, at just over 13 pounds, it’s easy to maneuver around your work area. Four rolling caster wheels allow for 360° movement, and there’s even a carrying handle on top for easy lifting.
This pressure washer includes four spray nozzles (15°,25°, 40°, and 60°) that attach via a quick-connect adapter. You also get a compact wash gun and an extended barrel gun attachment. Additionally, there’s onboard storage for all of the accessories to keep everything in one place.
What’s Different?
You may have noticed I mentioned Chemical Guys having released the first iteration in 2022. Well, that model is being phased out in favor of the new design for 2025.
You may be wondering exactly what’s changed between the two generations. Here’s an overview of the design adjustments Chemical Guys made for the ProFlow PM2000 Pro:
- Enhanced 1680W motor
- Short and long-barrel gun attachments
- Detachable onboard storage organizer
- Longer 25-foot flex hose
- Pre-installed 360° lockable caster wheels
- Tool-free setup
Chemical Guys ProFlow PM2000 Pressure Washer Price
The PM2000 Pro pressure washer retails for $249.99 and includes the four nozzles, both gun attachment sizes, and several other accessories. At the time of writing, it’s available exclusively through Chemical Guys.
Should You Buy It?
With so many pressure washers available on the market, how do you know if this automotive model is right for you? If you plan to use it primarily on your vehicle, the Chemical Guys ProFlow PM2000 Pro is a safe bet thanks to its lower pressure rating, which reduces the risk of damaging paint or other cosmetic details on your car’s exterior.
However, this model is a bit pricier than other automotive pressure washers we’ve seen in the same class. If the design upgrades offset the price trade-off for you, skip the drive-through express carwash next time for the ProFlow PM2000 Pro!
