Modular Lunch Storage

The Milwaukee PackOut compact cooler features impact-resistant polymers that not only protect the contents of the cooler but keep them insulated from the outside heat. Milwaukee claims that this 16-qt cooler can hold ice for over 30 hours. Of course, since this is the compact cooler, it begs the question: Will Milwaukee Tool release a larger-size cooler in the near future? We think that seems likely.

This Milwaukee cooler ties in seamlessly with the rest of the Packout system, with lock-in points on both the top and bottom of the cooler. It features and interior storage tray for further organization. And, like so many of Milwaukee’s storage options, it features an integrated bottle opener for when the work is done for the day. It carries an IP65 rating, keeping the contents safe from both dust and moisture.

We keep seeing it locked into a stack of Packout storage units atop the rolling dolly. That’s not a bad way to move your food around, but it also makes sense to snap it onto a rolling toolbox.

One thing we haven’t seen mentioned would be the use of this cooler for keeping batteries out of the sun. Many times, you find yourself away from the truck or van for long periods of time—but still outdoors. In lieu of stashing your batteries under a tarp, this works a treat for helping your batteries stay ready for use.
