New Craftsman 20V Tools and Batteries Cycle Each Year

Each year Craftsman adds to their 20V brushless line of tools with a 20V 1/2-in. Mid-Torque Impact Wrench, 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw, Two-Speed Reciprocating Saw, 4-1/2 in. Small Angle Grinder, and SDS+ Cordless Rotary Hammer. Along with these tools, Craftsman will also add a 6.0Ah and 9.0Ah battery to the V20 platform. Look for the new tools and batteries to hit shelves each summer.


 1/2-in. 20V Brushless Mid-Torque Impact Wrench

This impact wrench offers a brushless motor that, with a 4.0Ah battery, runs for up to 26% longer than the brushed 20V CMCF900 1/2-in. Impact Wrench. Craftsman specs that it can generate up to 275 ft-lbs of max fastening torque.

The Craftsman CMCF920 features a hog ring anvil for easy socket changes, a variable speed trigger, 2 mode settings, and an LED work light.

7-1/4 in. 20V Brushless Circular Saw

Craftsman claims that the brushless motor in this saw provides up to 75% more power than the brushed motor of the Craftsman 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw (CMCS500B).

Again, we’re seeing a big improvement in power with the addition of a brushless motor. Craftsman claims that this recipe generates up to 75% more power than the brushed-motor model (CMCS300).

The CMCS350 features a variable 2-speed trigger, and it can reach a no-load speed of up to 2,300 SPM. It has a reinforced pivoting shoe for better control and a tool-free blade release. An LED worklight keeps your work visible, while rubber grips protect your hands from taking a beating.

New Craftsman 20V Tools include 2 More Batteries

Going over new Craftsman 20V tools may get some people very excited. However, two new battery additions are also joining the 20V platform. These include the Craftsman V20 6.0Ah and the V20 9.0Ah battery. Both work with all 20V tools and equipment and both feature a push-button 3-LED charge indicator. The 6.0Ah battery retails for $129 while the 9.0Ah battery retails for $149. The V20 Dual Port charger has a price of just $99.
