Ryobi Compact Area Lights Run Forever

Ryobi has added another light model to the line of LED lighting solutions, and this one keeps going and going and going…The Ryobi P796 18V ONE+ LED Compact Area Light offers a convenient and efficient solution that can literally run for days on a single battery.

The Big Deal

Ryobi claims that the Compact LED Area Light delivers up to 400 lumens. It also runs for up to 7 days of continuous runtime. With this sort of output and runtime, we see these lights as ideal for power outages or camping trips, but also as a formidable light for your workbench applications.

Note: Ryobi used the 18V 9.0Ah battery (persumably at Low/25 lumens mode) to get to that continuous 7-day number.

The Ryobi P796 LED area light features 3 light settings (25/170/400 lumens) to provide you some control over balancing brightness and runtime. Dual lanyard loops make transportation safe and easy around the home, jobsite, or campsite. These lights are also compact enough to tuck away easily when you want to store them.

The Ryobi P7962P two-pack retails for $49.97 for the bare tool. It’s also important to note that these lights currently only come in a two-pack. Ryobi includes a 3-year warranty.
