The Ryobi PRC01 cordless ratchet cranks out up to 30 ft-lbs of torque at up to 250 rpm, making it a generally helpful tool to have around the workshop.

Ryobi’s 18V battery platform works on a stick pack design (as opposed to a slide pack). With most tools, this doesn’t present much of a problem. With this ratchet, the pack adds some weight to the 2.4-lb. tool. In and of itself, this doesn’t feel like too big of a deal. However, the bulky pack could make the ratchet cumbersome in some situations where space and clearance could be concerns.

Thankfully, the Ryobi cordless ratchet has a 4-position rotating head that mitigates the awkwardness somewhat. By pulling up on the collet, you can reposition the ratcheting head to a position that works better in these tight spots.

It also features a custom paddle switch and overmolding on the handle to increase your comfort. It also features 2 LED lights above and below the ratcheting head to light up your workspace.
