Skil Twist 2.0 Cordless Screwdriver Design
If you’re familiar with cordless screwdrivers, you’ll immediately notice the bulbous section near the driver collet. Using the Skil Twist 2.0 Cordless Screwdriver
You control the forward and reverse directions with the buttons on top of the tool. Press up to move the bit at 220 RPM forward, or back to reverse it.
While you’re working, an LED light illuminates the work area in front of you. It stays on for 10 seconds after you let go of the switch in case you need to take a closer look.
Going along with that speed, there’s 22 in-lbs of torque, and that’s a bit more than a lot of the competitors out there. It’s helpful for many standard size screws, but can be a bit much for switch plates, RC and drone assembly, and other small fasteners.
When you need less torque, press the button near the base of the tool to cycle through three torque levels. If you want to lock the screwdriver and use it manually, press and hold the same button until you see the light turn red.
The screwdriver uses a single 4V lithium-ion battery for power. It’s an internal power supply that recharges using any USB-C cable, and Skil includes one in the package.
