Bosch Offers New 12V Extended Magazine… I Mean, Battery

Bosch 12V extended magazine battery

The new Bosch Extended 12V Magazine lets your Bosch rapid fire fasteners with this jumbo capacity battery! Built to run, the new Bosch 12V extended magazine delivers double the capacity of their 3.0Ah stem pack. Housed in a durable polymer shell, the packs feature spring-loaded contacts for smooth, reliable performance. The 6.0Ah run-time will have you shooting more fasteners or making more holes than ever before.

An added benefit of these new 12V extended magazines has to do with ergonomics. Now, you can safely and securely get a two-handed grip on the tool for those tough drilling jobs. Forget side handles—the extra-long grip gives you plenty of room to grab on.

Bosch included an extension sheath so the new batteries work with all generation of Bosch 12V cordless tools. In addition, the extension features a quick release button so you can quickly eject the magazine and reload a fresh one to keep firing…I mean, drilling. Future products may accommodate the extra long batteries, but so far this appears to be an add-on for their existing tools.

We fired off hundreds of fasteners using this system. Our test tool was the Bosch 12V FlexiClick drill driver. It brings the ergonomics on par with other drill guns and really amps up the run-time. With these magazines installed, you can really rapid fire fasteners into wood or metal.
