Professional Tool Reviews for Pros

Bostitch Anti-Vibe Hammer Tacker

BOSTITCH Anti-Vibe Hammer Tacker

One of the leading causes of injury on the jobsite caused by long term exposure is vibration. It doesn’t care how strong you are or how good your grip is, it just slowly works on joints until they don’t work well anymore. While the most common culprits are aggressive tools like reciprocating saws or rotary hammers, even our hand tools can be guilty. Reducing vibration is one of the main concerns of the new Bostitch Anti-Vibe Hammer Tacker.

The Bostitch Anti-Vibe Hammer Tacker is functionally designed to make installation projects easy. It features a slip-resistant grip to help the tool from sliding away when placed on sloped surfaces. Its die-cast aluminum housing provides durability and lightweight functionality. Low handle activation force adds to the hammer tacker’s ergonomic features.

The hammer tacker is engineered with Bostitch’s Anti-Vibe technology. This technological advantage claims to provide 16 percent longer life compared to Arrow’s HTX50. The Anti-Vibe handle grip also helps reduce shock and vibration, resulting in improved comfort and control. Bostitch also includes their AntiJam loading mechanism for easier staple loading and jam clearance. The AntiJam design also reduces misfires. In the event of a misfire, the Bostitch Anti-Vibe Hammer Tacker clears itself before jamming occurs when the staple pusher flexes.

The Bostitch Anti-Vibe Hammer Tacker is armed via bottom-load magazine that features the ability to load with one hand without the risk of losing or damaging the pusher. Bostitch’s new hammer tacker is available in stores now and retails for $32.98. Bostitch backs it with a limited lifetime warranty.
