Bosch Cordless Concrete Nailer Eliminates the Need for Consumable Gas Cartridges

Pneumatic concrete nailers were the standard for nailing into concrete until relatively recently. Now that battery power is seeping its way into most nooks and crannies of the tool industry, it’s no surprise that a number of brands offer a battery-powered concrete nailer to replace the gas cartridges of yesteryear. Among them is Bosch with the GNB18V-12 Cordless Concrete Nailer and we’re looking at what it brings to the jobsite for Pros.

Bosch Cordless Concrete Nailer Performance

  • Model: GNB18V-12 (bare tool); GNB18V-12K14 (kit)
  • Sinks up to 1 1/2-inch collated concrete nails into concrete
  • Brushless motor
  • Air-spring design provides fast, consistent nailing
  • Depth adjustment

The GNB18V-12 concrete nailer can sink nails up to 1 1/2-inch into concrete. As part of Bosch’s ProFactor system, it uses a brushless motor coupled with a CORE18V battery to deliver performance equivalent to a corded or pneumatic nailer, according to the brand.

Its cordless design eliminates the need for consumable gas cartridges, so Bosch tells us it’s an ideal replacement for gas nailers. An air-spring functionality also provides fast, consistent nailing of both collated and single-shot nails.

Additionally, a variable depth adjustment lets you dial in how far you’d like to sink your nails into your workpiece.
