Stok Grill Redefines What a Grill Can Be

Stok Grills

WHAT MAKES STOK GRILLS DIFFERENT?

Stok Grills are similar to the grills you’ve used in the past. There are gas, charcoal, and even electric models in various sizes and at different price points. The big difference is when you look at Stok grill top – cut into the grates are circular pieces that can be removed. Some people might think that it’s an awfully strange way to clean a grill, but these are actually the genius behind the Stok Grills insert system.

Stok really gets it; guys like to grill. We’ll grill anything. I remember one time that Mom left on trip and left us a roast to cook for Sunday lunch after church. My Dad and I just kind of looked at each other like “What are we supposed to do with this?” So we cut it up and tossed it on the grill. Problem solved.

But what if you could get guys to cook everything on the grill… I mean everything. We already do meat and veggies, but what about pizza? Cookies? Pancakes, bacon, and eggs? Soups and stews? Stir fry?

Are you getting the picture here? Stok actually developed a system of inserts where entire meals can be prepared on the grill, including deserts. Labot Day is coming up, and here’s the perfect opportunity to explain to your wife why you need a new grill. Think how much time you’ll be able to save her by taking over more of the cooking duties! And we all know that when mama bear is happy, everyone is happy.

As I grilled up several different things over the past week to try, an inherent problem made itself present. The neighbors are used to smelling grilled meat. They can even forgive you for tempting them with the smoker. However, when they see a grill, but smell chocolate chip cookies, they’re coming over and you better have enough to share once they realize what you’re doing!

WHAT STOK GRILL MODELS ARE AVAILABLE?

Drum Charcoal Grill

The Stok Drum Charcoal Drill is a traditional looking drum grill with a few significant improvements. First, you’ll notice the temperature gauge. With the flexibility to cook so many different foods, some of them require precise temperatures to cook correctly so there’s a thermometer on all Stoke Grills. The hood and firebox are porcelain coated as well as the cast iron cooking grate. The 22.5″ firebox allows for a total grilling space of 363 square inches.

Gridiron Gas/Electric Grills

The Gridiron Grill comes in two models: gas or electric. Both feature a 348 square inch cooking surface, porcelain coated cooking grates, and built in thermometer. You’ll also find a convenient side table and that the grill collapses for easier storage. The collapsing feature makes this a great option for taking your grill with you camping or just out for a picnic. A simple, yet thoughtful feature is a latch that locks the lid down while travelling to prevent damage. Both models feature 15,000 BTU’s of heating capacity with the single burner controlled by a knob on the side table. The gas model is fueled by a 1 pound propane tank.

Island Gas Grill

The Island Gas Gril is a two burner LP grill that is fueled by a traditional 20 pound propane tank. The frame holds the tank in place away from a built is open storage area that is very handy for keeping your inserts close by. The grill lid is not attached by a hinge, so you have the convenience of being able to work all the way around it. The circular grilling surface provides 363 square inches of cooking space heated by up to 25,000 BTU’s. Like the other Stok Grills in the family, the Island’s grates are made from porcelain coated cast iron.

Quattro Gas Grill

The Quattro Gas Grill is the big boy of the the Stok Grill lineup. This 4 burner grill puts out up to 45,000 BTU’s of cooking heat and uses a 20 pound LP tank. The primary cooking surface is 450 square inches while an additional 150 square inch secondary surface sits above it. The Quattro is the only one in the line that has space for two inserts. My kids are pretty excited about that since my kids like just pepperoni on their pizza and my Lady and I prefer an eggplant/ricotta version. The onboard storage includes internal cabinet spice racks, a towel rack, insert storage, and tank storage. It also features heat tents that promote even heating and helps reduce flare ups.

The STOK Grill systems are innovative by anyone’s standards, and there are certainly more possibilities than I can count for cooking on the grill. Some Creations from My Stok Grill!

Stok Grills
Beautifully Grilled Chicken! Boneless, skinless chicken breasts marinated in olive oil and Italian dressing mix. Came out perfectly moist and flavorful! I love how I can just carry the grate in with the insert handle.
Yep, chocolate chip cookies on the grill! They need a little less time and temp than the instructions call for to come out right.

I had the family over to help eat the beer can chicken! I used the smoker/infuser to add some extra flavor to the process.
