DeWalt 60V Cordless Leaf Blower DCBL772

DeWalt Brings High Performance with the DCBL772 Cordless Blower

As battery-powered tools catch up to (and even surpass) gas performance, more and more professionals are adding them to their everyday lineup. Especially in areas with bans on gas equipment, having something like the DeWalt DCBL772 60V Leaf Blower allows you to adhere to those rules without sacrificing power. We’re looking at its performance and design to see what it has to offer for both professional and home use.

DeWalt 60V Leaf Blower Performance

  • Model: DeWalt DCBL772
  • Max airflow: 600 CFM
  • Max air speed: 125 MPH
  • Blowing force: 17.0 Newtons
  • Variable speed trigger
  • Speed lock cruise control
  • Brushless motor
  • Up to 84 minutes of runtime per charge

The DeWalt DCBL772 FlexVolt blower features a brushless motor that delivers up to 600 CFM of airflow and airspeeds up to 125 MPH. A variable speed trigger and cruise control also let you set the blower’s output to the application at hand.

DeWalt tells us its ideal applications include leaf blowing, grass blowing, debris clearance, and jobsite cleanup for both mid-range professional users and homeowners. On the lowest setting, you can expect to get up to 84 minutes of runtime per charge with a DCB609 9.0Ah battery.

In our tests, this blower hit 17.0 Newtons of blowing force. It is worth noting that we also measured the sound level and it peaked at 91 decibels at the operator’s ear, which is on the loud side. However, the performance is worth that trade-off and it beats most gas handheld blower models.

DeWalt 60V Leaf Blower Design

  • Weight: 9 pounds
  • Handle length: 5.5 inches
  • Inline design

The DeWalt DCBL772 blower has a straight, inline design with a 5.5-inch angled handle. It weighs 9 pounds with a 60V Max 3.0Ah battery. The handle design gives this blower a natural downward angle, which makes easy work of most blowing tasks.

Additionally, this model has a balanced design thanks to a centrally-located battery compartment at the foot of the tool. Compared to DeWalt’s previous 60V blower model, which has a slightly offset rear battery port, we see this as an improvement.

DeWalt 60V Leaf Blower Price

This blower retails for $219 as a bare tool and $299 for the kit, which includes a 20V/60V Max FlexVolt battery and charger. DeWalt backs your purchase with a 3-year warranty and 1 year of free service upon registration.
