3W Floor Mats Offer a Revamp for Your Vehicle’s Interior
Vehicle floor mats often fit into one of two categories: affordable but low-quality one-size-fits-all solutions and costly high-quality custom solutions. 3W is here to challenge those expectations. Their claim to fame is custom-made floor mats for a variety of cars using 3D scanning technology to perfectly match your car’s floor measurements. I took a set of 3W mats for a joyride in my vehicle to see how they performed and share my experience!

3W Floor Mats: What We Say
When the 3W floor mats came across my desk, I thought the timing was pretty fortuitous. Our 2023 Hyundai Elantra was still rocking the stock floor mats that we’ve had since buying it new, and we’ve since worn a pretty severe hole in the driver-side mat due to heel friction when driving.
3W’s hard-shell floor mats stuck out to me. They’re much more durable than the rough carpet material that comes standard in most mid-range cars and trucks. Plus, the rubberized fabric-free design makes them weatherproof and easy to clean with soap and water.
The tailored design was also a perfect match for my car. 3W uses 3D scanning technology to fit into most cars’ interiors perfectly. Since many cars have extremely close measurements between several model years, some of 3W’s floor mats are even compatible with a range of years. The Elantra mats I received are compatible with 2021 to 2025 models, making it easy to find the right ones.
Most vehicle mat sets come in three pieces: a front driver-side mat, a front passenger-side mat, and a long piece that covers both back seat floorboards, as well as the separator wall in the middle. There are also select sets that include a trunk mat, but that wasn’t available for my car’s setup.
3W Floor Mats Price
These floor mats are priced depending on your vehicle, but most sets range between $120 and $250. 3W backs your purchase with a lifetime warranty, including wear and tear.
So, how does that compare with premium brands like WeatherTech?
I did some comparison shopping, and WeatherTech’s standard floor mat set was a little over $200 for my car. 3W’s set was much easier to digest at $139.
Should You Buy Them?
There are so many aftermarket floor mats available for most vehicles, making it hard to determine which ones deserve a spot on your floorboards. Most no-name sets will run you less than $50, but the cheap price comes with its own set of problems, like subpar material quality and low durability.
3W’s floor mats are a step up in price, sitting in the $100-$250 range, which is still less than other custom-fit brands. The combination of a tough, long-lasting design that fits your car perfectly and a more affordable price tag makes them an outstanding value.
Oh, and the lifetime warranty doesn’t hurt, covering everything from manufacturer defects to wear and tear. If you’re ready to upgrade your car or truck interior with more than just a universal floor mat, 3W is a good place to start your search.
