The Ryobi 18V GoGoVac is Ultra Compact, Ideal for Small Messes
Ryobi has no shortage of vacuums in its 18V One+ cordless lineup. From stick vacuums to wet/dry models and hand vacuums, the majority of these tools target small to medium-duty home messes. That pattern continues with the newest model in the 18V roster: the GoGoVac. Who is it for? What can it do? I’m exploring the Ryobi 18V GoGoVac vacuum ahead of its release to help you decide if it’s a good addition to your cleaning tool arsenal.
Ryobi 18V GoGoVac: Overview

The GoGoVac is Ryobi’s most recent addition to the 18V One+ cleaning solution roster. Aside from its… unique name, the brand claims it offers compact, grab-and-go cleaning for a variety of small messes.
With up to 25 CFM of airflow and 45 IOW (inches of water lift), it’s not breaking any performance records. However, that’s not the idea. The design team prioritized a smaller frame over the strongest performance, ideal for light-duty messes and easy transport/storage. These performance specs suggest it’s best suited for applications like cleaning up crumbs, cat litter, pet hair, and other dry debris from around your home and/or vehicle.
As far as capacity, its 16-ounce dust bin is smaller than we see in some of Ryobi’s other handheld vacuums. However, if you’re just cleaning up a quick, small mess, 16 ounces is likely plenty. Inside the dust bin is a dual-filtration system that Ryobi claims effectively captures fine dust and debris.
Aside from the small size, it’s also equipped with a few other design choices that give it a convenience advantage when compared to other Ryobi hand vacuums. The GoGoVac has a 4-foot flexible vacuum hose that delivers more ease of movement than in-line models like the PCL704 hand vacuum. A carrying handle makes transporting between messes simple, and it collapses for compact storage.
It also comes with two attachments, including a crevice tool and a dedicated pet hair tool that lifts stubborn fur from fabric and upholstery. Both attachments and the extendable hose store directly onboard the vacuum.
Ryobi 18V GoGoVac Price
The GoGoVac will retail for $79 as a bare tool and $129 as a kit, including a 2.0Ah battery and charger. Both configurations include a 4-foot extendable hose, a crevice tool, a pet hair tool, and a filter. Ryobi backs your purchase with a 3-year warranty.
This vacuum won’t be available until June 2026, but you can check the availability here. We will update this page upon release to reflect the current pricing.
Should You Buy It?
So, we’ve learned what the GoGoVac can do, but the question remains: who is it for? One of its main draws is its compactness. With a 16-oz dry-only tank, it’s easy to maneuver between messes, and it tucks away in your closet or trunk for easy storage. It’s targeting homeowners, renters, and pet owners who need a quick cleaning solution that outshines the broom and dustpan.
This vacuum is a dry-only model, so if you frequently need to clean wet messes, go with another Ryobi model that has a wet-vac function. For instance, the Ryobi PCL733 is around $10 more, with a 1-gallon capacity for wet and dry messes, although it’s not as compact as the GoGoVac. If you don’t mind the size sacrifice and you prefer a model compatible with wet messes, we recommend sticking with a vacuum like that.
