While there are quite a few cordless narrow crown staplers on the market, it’s important to understand that the Bosch GTH18V-50M is breaking new ground. The 16-gauge 7/16-inch staples are much larger and more robust than the cordless 3/8-inch crown staplers from Flex and Kobalt. These staples also have improved holding power.
The unique open-air magazine holds up to 150 staples that range in size from 1 to 2 inches, and gives you a clear visual indicator of your remaining staples.

Depth Adjustment

Its overall form factor is very similar to Bosch’s other cordless 18V nailers. Despite its larger profile, this stapler is very well balanced and easy to maneuver.

Ergonomics

If a nail jams, you won’t have to look for a hex wrench to open the nose section and dig it out. Simply flip the latch cover forward and lift it up to access the top of the magazine. Once you free the offending nail and close the latch, you can be back to work in a matter of seconds rather than minutes.
Dry Fire Lockout
The dry fire lockout kicks in once the nailer has five fasteners remaining in the magazine. This helps avoid increased wear and tear on the drive system and unnecessary downtime.

While it may not be the most compact option out there, its thoughtful design and jobsite-ready performance more than make up for the extra size.

Admittedly, this is a fairly specialized tool, but it’s incredibly useful for installing roof or wall sheathing, vinyl siding, flooring, or even assembling shipping crates and pallets.
