EGO Compact Pressure Washer Performance

EGO Compact Pressure Washer
  • Model: EGO HPW2105
  • Max water pressure: 2100 PSI
  • Max water rate: 1.2 GPM
  • Runtime: 30 mins (with 6.0Ah battery)
  • 3 speed modes

The EGO HPW2105 pressure washer is powered by a single EGO 56V battery. It reaches water pressure levels of up to 2100 PSI with a max volume of 1.2 GPM. The performance level of this model is spot-on with the most popular electric models on the market.

PSI and GPM are important variables when picking out a pressure washer, and this model’s specs make it ideal for light- to medium-duty outdoor cleaning. While it won’t take off years of stuck-on grime as well as stronger battery-powered, electric, or gas models, you can still use it to clean patio furniture, sidewalks and driveways, cars, RVs, and home facades.

It features three speed modes: low, high, and turbo. You can toggle between speeds using the button on the top of the unit. Turbo mode is where you’ll achieve the top GPM and PSI estimates. On the lowest setting, EGO estimates runtimes of up to 30 minutes using the kitted 6.0Ah battery.

EGO Compact Pressure Washer Design

  • Weight: 20.4 lbs (bare)
  • Siphon hose
  • Built-in carrying handle
  • 25-ft high-pressure hose
  • Includes 4 nozzles
  • Onboard hose and accessory storage
  • IPX5 rating

This model is equipped with a 25-foot high-pressure hose and four nozzles. Like most pressure washers, you get a 15° nozzle, a 25° nozzle, a 40° nozzle, and a turbo nozzle. EGO forgoes the 0° (which is technically on the turbo nozzle) and soap nozzles.

There are storage slots along the sides of the unit, as well as slots to store the wand handle and extension wand.

Like its 3200 PSI big brother, this model is siphon hose-capable, and EGO includes one with this pressure washer. Having the ability to pull water from a freshwater source like a water bucket, swimming pool, or lake is a huge advantage if you don’t have access to a garden hose.

EGO also designed this pressure washer with an IPX5 rating, protecting it from water splashes while the battery compartment is closed.

Size and Weight

It’s clear that EGO prioritized a compact size with this model rather than sheer cleaning power. This makes it a good solution for homeowners or renters with limited storage space.

It’s also pretty lightweight at just over 20 pounds without the battery. A carrying handle at the top of the tool makes it easy to transport between cleaning areas. I normally prefer wheeled pressure washers to simplify transport, but since this model is so lightweight, wheels aren’t a necessity.

Finally, this EGO compact pressure washer features a single battery slot, slimming down from the dual port design of the brand’s previous iteration. This helps keep the build size to a minimum, letting you tuck it away in a corner of your garage or shed while you’re not using it.

EGO Compact Pressure Washer Price

This pressure washer retails for $299 as a bare tool and $449 as a kit, including a 6.0Ah battery and charger. EGO backs your purchase with a 5-year warranty on the tool and a 3-year warranty on the battery.

Should You Buy It?

If you’re looking to cut the cord for outdoor cleaning, EGO now has a couple of battery-powered pressure washer options. The 56V Compact Pressure Washer’s advantage is its compact size with mid-range cleaning power in the electric space. With its top performance in line with popular electric models and the ability to easily downshift for cleaning more delicate surfaces, it’s compelling.

For a more powerful cordless option, EGO’s first-generation 56V pressure washer has a higher performance level, topping out at 3200 PSI, but it comes with some trade-offs in size and price. However, if you’re looking to clean extreme outdoor grime and enjoy more efficient cleaning, the higher performance level is your better bet.
