Milwaukee’s RedLithium USB Headlamp Lets You Light Up The Jobsite Hands-Free
When you’re working in dimly-lit environments, having a source of light can make the job much easier. Bringing along a work light can help, but they’re oftentimes bulky and need to be transported from area to area. Headlamps, on the other hand, provide hands-free light exactly where you need it. The Milwaukee USB Headlamp 2163 aims to step it up a notch, and we wanted to look at what it has to offer.
Milwaukee USB Headlamp 2163: The Big Deal
Milwaukee emphasized a lightweight design with the 2163 headlamp while still giving it up to 600 lumens of light output. It has three light modes: hybrid, spot, and flood, with low and high settings for the latter two. You’ll see that 600-lumen maximum light output in hybrid mode, which combines the spot and flood modes to give you the most light possible.
It uses a Milwaukee RedLithium USB 3.0Ah battery as a power source. You can recharge the battery in the flashlight using the included USB-C charging cord, or you can swap out for an additional battery for virtually no downtime.

You can also optimize the position of the light since the head rotates up to 180°. On top of that, it easily detaches from the bracket to get light into hard-to-reach places, or for easy charging.
