Ryobi’s Pressure Washer Lineup Grows With Two New Corded Models
There are so many pressure washer performance levels, sizes, and types that it can be difficult to determine which one is best for your outdoor cleaning needs. Ryobi’s pressure washer lineup runs deep, and now they’re adding two new light- to medium-duty models to the roster. I’m looking at Ryobi’s newest electric pressure washers to help you decide if they’re a good fit.

Ryobi 1800 PSI 1.2 GPM Electric Pressure Washer
The smaller of the two new Ryobi pressure washers is the RY141803. It reaches top pressure levels of 1800 PSI with a water flow rate of up to 1.2 GPM. This makes it ideal for light to medium-duty outdoor cleaning tasks. While it won’t remove years of built-up grime, this model is good for cleaning surfaces like walkways, outdoor furniture, windows, and more.
It’s clear Ryobi is prioritizing a compact design with this pressure washer. It weighs just 14.4 pounds, and a carrying handle helps you transport it between work areas. Plus, the 35-foot power cord wraps around the base of the unit, and the 20-foot high-pressure hose wraps around the top for compact storage. The two included nozzles (15° and turbo) also have onboard storage slots to keep everything in one spot.

Should You Buy It?
With a price tag of just over $100, this Ryobi pressure washer is a suitable pick if you only have a modest level of grime on your outdoor surfaces and want to get rid of it on a budget. It shaves off about 1.6 pounds in weight compared to the previous 1800 PSI / 1.2 GPM model, weighing just 14.4 pounds. Also improved are the onboard storage capabilities, with dedicated wrap-around spots for the hose and cord.
If you don’t have much storage space in your shed or garage, this model is the smallest Ryobi offers in its corded pressure washer lineup for this performance level. However, for something with a bit more cleaning power that’s still relatively value-forward, consider stepping up to the Ryobi 2000 PSI RY142022 for about $40 more. It takes up more real estate, but it offers tougher grime-fighting power.
Ryobi 2100 PSI 1.2 GPM Electric Pressure Washer
The RY142012 pressure washer delivers up to 2100 PSI of water pressure and top flow rates of 1.2 GPM. Like the 1800 PSI model above, this pressure washer won’t remove heavy-duty stains or grime, but its higher pressure rating makes it ideal for medium-duty cleaning tasks, like sidewalks, fencing, home siding, and more.
It weighs in at around 22 pounds. While that’s still relatively lightweight compared to other pressure washers at this performance level, Ryobi still included a telescoping handle and two rear wheels to help you transport between work areas.
This model includes a 15° nozzle and a turbo nozzle, which are stored onboard. A 1/4-inch quick-connect coupler enables easy accessory changes. Also included is a soap nozzle, which has its own storage location behind the front door of the unit. Most pressure washer soap cannons require separate storage from the pressure washers themselves, so it’s clear Ryobi put some thought into this design to address a common accessory pain point.
- Model: Ryobi RY142012
- Max pressure: 2100 PSI
- Max water flow: 1.2 GPM
- High-pressure hose length: 25 ft
- Cord length: 35 ft
- 1/4-inch quick-connect coupler
- Onboard storage
- Includes two nozzles
- Warranty: 3 years
Price: $199
Should You Buy It?
Even though the $199 price tag is almost double the price of the new 1800 PSI model, it’s still a relatively good value in Ryobi’s pressure washer roster. I’m a fan of the sleek design, and the onboard soap nozzle storage is a nice bonus that’s not present in other Ryobi models. For those looking for medium-duty outdoor cleaning capabilities, this model should serve you well.
Ryobi’s corded pressure washer lineup tops out at 3000 PSI, which will run you around $399. Models in that range are better suited for medium- to heavy-duty jobs, and it has legitimate gas replacement performance. At 2100 PSI, this one is in the sweet spot for homeowners with enough power to do most of your cleaning at a more affordable price point.
