Here in Lakeland, Florida, we’ve had a huge problem with water leakage on new residential single and multi-family units, as well as multimillion-dollar luxury apartments. Sometimes it’s shoddy work and sometimes it’s because of sub-par materials. Shurtape is working the material problem out of the equation with its FrogTape Pro Grade Flashing and Waterproofing Tape.
FrogTape Pro Grade Flashing and Waterproofing Tape Details
Made in the USA using global materials and free of VOCs (volatiile organic compounds), the tape meets AAMA 711-22 standards for self-adhering flashing on exterior wall fenestration installation. That’s great, but this tape is about more than just meeting a standard—it aims to save you time and money while getting the job done right the first time.
In most installation applications, you don’t need a primer thanks to the advanced acrylic adhesive—just stick it on and move on with the job. With its 6-month UV resistance, you don’t have to worry about delays degrading the tape while you wait for materials or subcontractors to show up.
You also don’t have to worry about nails, screws, imperfections, or protrusions. The tape self-heals around them to maintain its waterproofing.
You can install FrogTape Pro Grade Flashing and Waterproofing Tape in temperature as low as 0° F or as high as 150° F (-18° – 65° C). One it’s up, you can have confidence it will keep water out in temperatures ranging -40° to 240° F (-40° – 115° C).
