Milwaukee Brings Another HVAC-Focused Solution to the M18 Fuel Platform

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Vacuum Pump: The Big Deal
This is Milwaukee’s first vacuum pump for the HVAC profession. It boasts corded performance without the hassle of setting up and tearing down power cords on the job. In fact, Milwaukee tells us it provides up to 20% more airflow compared to corded pumps. Its brushless motor also helps to evacuate as fast as corded models during system pulldowns.
Milwaukee included an industry-first Manifold Mode for flow-restricted manifold setups. It maximizes speed and runtime, providing up to 90 minutes of runtime per charge. In Default Mode, you can evacuate using direct connections and large 1/2-inch hoses for up to 60 minutes of runtime.
This vacuum pump is compatible with 1/2-inch, 1/4-inch, and 3/8-inch ports, which deliver fast evacuations, especially when combined with large hoses.
There are also several valves that help this vacuum pump prioritize ease of use for HVAC technicians. An isolation ball valve isolates the pump for easy battery changes. An internal check valve protects the system vacuum when the pump isn’t running. Finally, a gas ballast valve extends the life of your oil to decrease the frequency of oil changes.
