Pro Tool Reviews to Issue NFTs (Non-fungible Tools) for Manufacturers

Pro Tool Reviews NFTs Non-fungible Tools

LAKELAND, FL – Pro Tool Reviews, the world’s largest publication dedicated to tool reviews for the construction industry, is once again leading the world by selling NFTs (non-fungible tools) for most major power tool manufacturers.

“Having seen the effectiveness of NFTs in the world of art, gaming, and digital media, we decided to bring them to the world of power tools,” said Pro Tool Reviews founder, Clint DeBoer. “After all, who wouldn’t want to digitally own the Milwaukee M18 FUEL SawZall, the Skilsaw MAG77LT, or even the DeWalt Powerstack Battery?”

For the past 10 years, as part of their review process, Pro Tool Reviews has been making a digital catalog of each power tool. Finally, they are ready to release that catalog to tool enthusiasts for purchase as NFT digital downloads. For the first time ever, consumers and professionals can truly own* the tools they use every day—for a price.

“The starting bid for each tool depends on its relative popularity, of course,” said DeBoer. “DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Makita tools will likely fetch the highest prices. And tools like the SawZall, Hole Hog, and the original 7.2V drill from Makita are certain to be some of the highest-priced NFTs we’ll have in our arsenal. I’d expect to pay anywhere in the neighborhood of $2.5 million to $3.0 million dollars for those top tools or something as low as $5 to own a Bell and Howell Bionic string trimmer. In our opinion, no price is too high when you’re talking about grabbing (and owning) a piece of power tool history.”

*Note: The Pro Tool Reviews NFTs give you the opportunity to own the digital representation of a power tool. It does not grant you the rights to a physical power tool or even the rights to use the power tool imagery in any way, shape, or form. Pro Tool Reviews also does not claim that another NFT of the same tool may or may not be sold bearing the same unique representations as your NFT. In short, caveat emptor.
