Ridgid R84044B Caulk Gun Features
The Ridgid R84044B 18V caulk gun frees you up from the trigger finger fatigue that comes with the traditional caulking gun. Its motor can apply 750 lbs. of push force to power through even stubborn tubes of caulk and adhesive.
Anyone can manually caulk using cheap Alex 230 or similar products. However, this should help with tough materials like OSI Quad Max and sealants that don’t flow easily. With the Ridgid R84044B, you can flow these stiffer sealants a bit more quickly and work much faster than you would with a manual caulk gun.
By taking care of the heavy lifting, Ridgid’s caulk gun lets you focus on the speed and consistency of your application. It includes a variable speed dial and a variable speed trigger, allowing you to dial in the amount of material coming out of the gun.

Ridgid has played pretty coy about a lot of the details of the soon-to-be-released 18V caulk and adhesive gun, but there’s enough information to start drawing a comparison to the existing Ryobi caulk gun. That tool sells for around $50 without a battery or charger.
