Milwaukee is providing a solution for that very issue with its line of Diamond Plus Hole Saws. The new Milwaukee diamond plus hole saws improve cut and durability through the use of heat resistant braze and a higher grade diamond. The result is a hole saw that Milwaukee tells us will last up to ten times longer previous models.
The Diamond plus line is rated to cut anchor and clearance holes in stone, tile, glass, brick, block, and cement backer board. 1 piece hole saw offerings range in size from 3/16″ to 1″. Threaded hole saws are available from 7/8″ to 2-1/2″ in diameter. To improve compatibility with common tools, there are also Angle Grinder Adapters and Retractable Pilot Bits in the product offerings.
