Milwaukee Exact 12T U-Style Dies

Milwaukee Exact 12T U-Style Dies

Crimping connectors is at the core of the electrical installation process. Often core tasks are so standardized that the innovation period around them has long since passed. But Milwaukee aims to change that with the new Milwaukee Exact 12T U-style Dies.

The dies have lengths specifically designed to match each connector width from #8 to 750 MCM. They’re marked with colored bands and wire size markings that correspond to the industry-standard color coding. This eliminates cross-referencing during inspection. The same color is used for a center alignment mark on the top of each die to aid in crimp placement.

Milwaukee Exact 12T U-Style Dies produce cULus classified crimps according to the UL 486A-B classification standards for Cu and Dual Rated Anderson, Blackburn, Burndy, Ilsco, Panduit, Penn-Union and Thomas & Betts connectors when used with the M18 Force Logic 750 MCM Crimper. All Milwaukee U-style dies are 100% serialized and measured with individual measurement reports.

“Milwaukee Tool’s new Exact 12T-U-Style Dies have lengths specifically designed to match each connector width, producing quality crimps faster on all wire sizes – whether it’s #8, 750 MCM, or any size in-between.Each die is easily recognizable and features brightly colored bands and wire size markings that correspond to industry standard color coding so users can quickly and easily choose the correct die. That same color is also used for a center alignment mark on the top of each die to aid in crimp placement.”
