Milwaukee Jobsite Rolling Bag Announced

Milwaukee Jobsite Rolling Bag

Milwaukee recently announced two new Milwaukee Jobsite Rolling Bag models with the 18-Inch Jobsite Rolling Bag and 24-Inch Hardtop Rolling Bag. These mobile storage solutions are designed to transport tools, accessories, and other materials around tough jobsite environments.

Both Milwaukee Josbite Rolling Bag options are constructed with 1680D ballistic material, metal through-axles, all-metal skid plates, and 6-inch metal-rimmed, all-terrain wheels. Milwaukee also designed its own industrial-grade extension handle to prevent a common point of failure with other rolling bags.

The 18-inch bag features 66 pockets, a 200 pound capacity, and is designed to fit in a job box. The 24-inch bag features 53 pockets, a 250 pound capacity, and is designed for stacking. The main compartment of both bags provides a place to store larger tools, while a fold-down front portion of the bag reveals additional tool and equipment storage pockets. A dedicated puncture-resistant pocket provides a storage area for sharp tools and blades.

Our Take

Milwaukee Jobsite Rolling Bag

Jobsite storage is a very personal decision – some people like a hard sided option while other go for soft. Some Pros stick everything in a large bin while keeping the accessories in an organized tray and others like as many pockets as possible. New Milwaukee Jobsite Rolling Bag models cater to the Pro that’s a little more OCD than most – we’re talking to you, electricians.

Having this many pockets available for individual tool storage is great for hand tools, but it does somewhat limit the number and size of power tools you can carry. It extends your capacity beyond what you can carry in the Jobsite Backpack though.

The reality for many professional users in the construction industry is that they carry a combination of power tools and hand tools/instruments. In this case, Milwaukee brings organization full circle with your power tools going in the 26-inch Workbox and your hand tools going in the Jobsite Rolling Bag.

In fact, you should be able to set your Workbox on top of the 24-Inch Rolling Bag’s hard top and roll both in together. While there’s no locking integration built in between the two, perhaps we’ll see a more interlocking system down the road.
