Portable and Customizable Bending
Through a system of interchangeable bending shoes, the Southwire BendDolly Conduit Bending Platform allows the user to bend EMT, IMC and GRC conduit. This platform can switch between shoe heads to accommodate 1/2″ through 1-1/4″ sizes. Intended to operate as companion pieces, the BendDolly also utilizes the same bending shoe heads as the Southwire BendStation. It accepts four different Southwire Bending Shoes (listed at the bottom of the page).
With two large dolly wheels, the BendDolly is lightweight enough to be transported easily between stations or job sites. Despite its small size, the BendDolly offers plenty of bending stability. It also features a powder coating to help resist rust and corrosion, making it more durable. Finally, the Southwire BendDolly fits into an upright position for simple, out-of-the way storage.

Synergy and portability are usually good things to look for in a particular product line. For those already on the Southwire bending platform, the compatibility between this product and the BendStation make the BendDolly look like a proper lightweight solution to conduit bending. Having the ability to share fittings between the two benders make this a viable purchase for anyone considering the Southwire system, and especially for those who are already on it. And, while the BendStation is pretty portable in its own right, the smaller BendDolly looks to be a more convenient option for traveling. It can be maneuvered from the shop to job site and back again as simply as someone could move, well, a dolly.
