Tool storage takes many different forms. We’ve reviewed the best tool box and the best tool chest. Possibly the hottest new tool storage solution includes the likes of Milwaukee Packout and DeWalt ToughSystem 2.0. You can’t, however, forget to factor in garage storage solutions. Those include the Ryobi Link Modular Storage System and Milwaukee Packout Shop Storage. Our favorite tool storage solutions include gigantic tool chests from the likes of Husky and Craftsman. Even customizable, pre-filled boxes from Sonic Tools really capture our attention. We love features like soft close drawers, locking casters, power and USB options, and the over-the-top build quality. Tool storage has gone from blad to “wow” in just a few scant years.

Click & Go is the new marketing name for Bosch’s latest iteration and family of L-Boxx integrated storage solutions. Christian Heine spoke about Bosch’s process of observing the workplace and noting areas of feedback from real world users who could use more productivity. As an example, they observed and interviewed what they referred to as “mobile pros” and found that only around 31% of their day is productive (billable). The rest of the day is time spent buying supplies, driving, searching for tools, etc.

Craftsman is taking on the big boys – or at least the big boys who like to listen to tunes while they work. Last week at CES, Craftsman revealed a couple new tool chests that really got our attention. The first piqued our interest because it was coated in a completely matte black finish. That’s right, black as the night sky in a Kansas… you get the idea. The main thing Craftsman was about, however, was its other rolling tool chest. The big one with the speakers on the front. The new Contour Powered Series of tool rolling chests feature a power tool recharging station that can recharge up to four tools or personal electronics devices.
