I had a chance to handle a few of these craftsman tape measures and from my perspective they’re cheap and I wouldn’t give you more than 6.99 for it. Really not surprised but I was actually hoping for better quality. The tape itself is markedly thinner and more flimsy than my Lufkin and Milwaukee tapes and only single sided printing? I won’t buy one printed only on one side, spoiled I guess but it just seems like such a waste to not print the back side. I’m sure they’re serviceable but I just think they’re a bit disappointing overall.
