Ridgid is continuing their efforts to expand the SeeSnake line of drain / sewer inspection equipment with their new SeeSnake DVDPak Monitor which is easy way to have a permanent record of an inspection. Using the recently launched DVDBase recording accessory as a foundation, the DVDPak Monitor gives you the option of a 5.7" LCD or a 4.3" OLED color display.

The Optional High Contrast  OLED display is supposed to be able to work in really cold weather all the way down to -30 ° F and offers better daylight viewing in very bright conditions. The SeeSnake DVDPak Monitor provides exceptional DVD burning reliability which takes the question out of what DVDs to use and how to finalize correctly. No more miss burns or errors about compatibility. There is a built-in microphone which gives you the option of recording voice-over on your inspection footage which could prove pretty handy if you are taking a lot of film. Being able to take audio notes can be a huge help in future viewing of the DVD's. The unit comes in a fully weatherized case is pretty lightweight and modular in design. The DVDPak Monitor should help to provide a new level of flexibility, reliability and efficiency on the job site. To add additional functionality if AC power isn't available, Lithium-Ion batteries provide hours of untethered operation.
